What to do if there is an electricity outage?

• Check with Sonja our neighbour if her electricity is out on +353879566606

• Check for known outages on the ESB Powercheck website 

• Report the outage using the MPRN above at this link.

• If you need to call ESB, quote our MPRN and tell them you are the on duty manager at The Common Knowledge Centre, Boghil, Kilfenora, Clare, V95DK38. 

• Inform any guests of the outage bearing in mind it may have affected their comfort in terms of emergency lighting coming on, water not being available due to pump outage, and showers and kettles etc not functioning. 

• When the electricity comes back on, the timer clocks for heating will have the wrong time on them and this will affect heating. Go to the Wood Burner shed and the 'Bridge' room in the Octagon, and correct the time on the clocks.
